Supplies you will need for this class:

The beauty of Neurographica is that it can be drawn anywhere with anything. And most of us already have enough stationery to start drawing immediately, especially if you have kids in your house.

1. Markers: Start with black permanent markers like Sharpies. If you want later, you can get Alcohol Based Markers. They have great coverage depending on their quality and price.

2. Colored pencils: The softer – the better. We like Prismacolor, but if you don’t have them – there are many other great brands. Watercolor pencils can be used without water; they are usually soft.

3. Highlighters (optional).

4. White paper: We will start with A4 size printing paper. Later you can try paper designed for markers. Mixed media paper, or cardstock are also great options.

Please avoid any type of oil pencils or oil crayons. It is not possible to draw with markers over oily materials.

Since Neurographica is a graphic art, we don’t use paint or brushes, but if you have any kind of health limitation that prevents you from using pencils for coloring you are welcome to use brushes and paints.

OPTIONAL SUPPLIES
The following is a list of supplies to use for Neurographica with links to Amazon if you want to purchase them.
These are NOT REQUIRED. You will only need white paper (10 sheets), a black marker like Sharpie, and color pencils.

1. Paper:
· A4 multipurpose paper, that I use most of the time. View on Amazon

· A3 for bigger drawings. Good sturdy cardstock. View on Amazon
· A5 cards are used for marathon drawings. View on Amazon

2. For neurolines - Uni-Ball pens 1.0 mm

Pay attention to the tip. I use 1.0 mm. Refills are available as well.
At the beginning I highly recommend using markers instead of pens. It's easier to round with markers but pens give you more control and details.

3. For black Field lines I use Faber-Castell brush: View on Amazon
For colored Field lines I use Sharpie brush tip: View on Amazon
Brush tip is easier to use over colored pencils without ruining it.

4. Colored pencils by Prismacolor Premier. I have a set of 150, but I do not use half of them. 72 is usually enough. View on Amazon

6. Highlighters are thicker than usual pencils and I use this sharpener with a double hole: View on Amazon
